George lives in Sandpoint, ID and started carving wood in 1973 while a college student in Northern California and Oregon. He’s been carving on and off since then, making time to marry, have two children, and a full-time career as a special education teacher (now retired). While he’s slowed down a bit (2018 cancer survivor), he’s still making sawdust and chips in his shop.
George’s sculptures often seem to possess some unknown or foreign origin. Most are just easy to look at. See his work at fullmoonsculptures.com.
