I live in beautiful Sandpoint, ID and started carving wood in 1973 while attending college in Northern California.  I've been carving on and off since then, making time to marry, have two children, and a full-time career as a special education teacher (retired). 

 Now 74, I've slowed down a bit but still enjoy making and creating in my shop.  Over the last year I've switched from chainsaws, grinders, gouges and mallets, to working on a hexagonal triangular-shaped chandelier using Arduino Nano microprocessors, NeoPixel Mini-Button PCB's and learning the software that runs them.  

  I'm unsure where this latest venture will take me but I'm really enjoying working with light on the chandelier.
